We would like to welcome Jacob Byrum to the CP&P Safety Team. Jacob serves as Area Safety Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Eastern Crescent plants, where he will help managers and employees drive their safety culture to a whole new level.
Jacob comes to CP&P with over 8 years experience in the safety and construction field. He started his career in the natural gas pipe sector working in the field as a pipefitter, where he developed an interest in safety. He later changed roles and worked with Chaney Enterprises (ready mix, mining and aggregates) as a safety specialist and then served as their Safety manager. Since then, he has not looked back and is excited to strengthen his career and knowledge working here at CP&P.
He enjoys spending time with his young son- and being a dad has been his greatest achievement. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing.
