The Platinum Safety Team has completed its first official plant review and that plant was at Dunn Precast. Everyone at Dunn was proactive, very open to questions and responsive to safety suggestion or corrections. We could not have asked for a better place to start! It was a very good two days with a lot of interaction. On top of that, the team identified 10 Best Practices to share with the rest of the company.
Part of the PST Team process is to not only to document and share the Best Practices that are found, but we will also be sharing the safety audit information as well. This will help any and all plants correct identified safety hazards and allow you to implement the Best Practices at your location.
During future PST Team reviews at each location and in addition to the normal items, we will be looking for Best Practice implementation and safety issue corrections.
This was a great start for this team and operating plants can only make it better by being open minded and proactive for safety when the Platinum Safety Team comes to your location.
