P3 (Professional Product Proficiency) is an ACPA training program for beginners to veterans. P3 teaches students the fundamentals of concrete pipe while gaining a better understanding of the manufacturing, installation, inspection process and an introduction to design. It is led by the ACPA’s Region Engineer Team, who are experts in both industry and technical knowledge.
P3 is a hybrid learning experience that incorporates live discussion, recorded instruction, assignments, and quizzes. It is four full days of learning that fills students with the knowledge and ability to raise awareness about concrete pipe and precast.
Twenty three CP&P employees have graduated from the P3 training, including 4 most recently in 2022. Jeff Kirk, Chad Ward, Jason Gilkeson and Scott Crumpler were recognized at the ACPA Pipe School Closing Luncheon in St. Louis in January.
